Abstract : Non-coding RNA (ncRNA) is a type of functional RNA that regulates gene expression in a post-transcriptional manner. NcRNA mainly includes microRNA, circRNA, and lncRNA. They are highly expressed in the CNS and are involved in the physiological and pathophysiological regulatory processes of multiple CNS diseases, including stroke. There are many studies on the diagnostic role, biological mechanism, and therapeutic targets of non-coding RNA in ischemic stroke, which are reviewed in this paper.
