Title : Biochemical characterization of acetyl choline esterase in the red blood cells of patients with beta-thalassemia

This study includes measuring the activity of the acetyl cholinesterase, specific activity and total protein in the red blood cells of beta-thalassemia patients, as well as determining the optimum conditions of acetyl cholinesterase concentration optimum, substrate concentration optimum, pH optimum, temperature optimum and optimum time, as well as determining the Km and vmax values of acetyl cholinesterase in red blood cells of beta-thalassemia patients. Where 100 samples were taken for beta-thalassemia patients, the samples were subdivided into 85 beta-thalassemia major and 15 thalassemia intermediate.
